Boulder Creek entered the Division I Section II tournament with the goal of getting as many wrestlers to State as possible, regardless of section placement. With the addition of Liberty ( only dual loss of the year), the always tough Cibola team looked to be the teams to beat. As many that have followed wrestling know the goal is to get to State any way you can, because at State anything can happen.

The teams to beat showed why the were favored, as BC finished 3rd behind Liberty and Cibola. BC qualified 7 wrestlers for the State tournament, and added 2 names to the Section Champion wall.

2. Cibola 152 pts

3. BOULDER CREEK 121 pts
